Typical FCS2 Perfusion Configuration For Induced Change Biology

  1. Tygon 2275 X 1/16" tubing supply line 1/16" ID (keep as short as possible)
  2. Micro-Perfusion pump (recommended for prolonged, controlled perfusion in delicate optical cavities)
  3. Tee adapter (used to add low volume syringe to perfusion)
  4. Luer adapter (female, adapts luer taper syringe to 1/16" tubing)
  5. Low volume glass syringe (to permit precision manual perfusion during loading of chamber)
  6. Luer adapter (male, adapts 1/16" tubing to female luer lock)
  7. Alternate media glass syringe (growth factors, inhibitors etc.)
  8. Two-way valve (switches source to perfusion pump or manual)
  9. FCS2 Chamber
  10. Tubing to waste container
  11. Tee adapter (place at same height as chamber, open top of tee prevents siphoning)
Note: Syringes are glass to prevent contamination of media from silicone lubricant typical in plastic syringes.
