Bioptechs Series 1 Controllers and Units (1992-1993)

Integrated three channel controller, issued mid 1992 controls FCS2 and an Objective Heater. Features three red led displays, a large metal 6 pin connector for the FCS2 and 4 pin connector on the objective. This unit was replaced with a two channel controller and separate objective heater controller in 1995.

Bioptechs Series Two Controller (1993-1995)

First Delta T controller, features touch pad temperature adjustment, slanted display, large metal 6 pin plug, touch pads for setpoint, dish, reference temperature display and reset. This controller case was used with different external graphics, a four pin plug on the front and custom internal electronics to operate the objective heater.
 

Bioptechs Series Three Controllers and Units (1995-2000)

Delta TC3 series controller. This all metal casing was used for all Bioptechs heating products from 1995 to 2000. This includes Delta T, FCS2 and the Objective heater. Functional identification was silk screened on the front of the controller. Any modifications such as heated lid power-supply, TTL imaging mode switching, remote setpoint, and temperature readout was added as a special modification. All connections used mini din connectors. FCS2 and Delta T used a 6 pin mini din and the objective heater used a 4 pin mini din.

Old Delta T stage adapter. Note circuit board entirely covers the side openings of the dish receptacle. The dish rests on the circuit board and is held in place by leaf springs. This design was replaced in 2003 with the current model.

Bioptechs Series Four Controllers and Units (2000 - Present Day)

Current Delta T4 Controller (metal base and plastic outer shell). Offers multi voltage input, superior Delta T control, built in adjustable heated lid power-supply, remote TTL or footswitch Imaging mode switching, user calibration, remote setpoint, temperature readout and a heat shock circuit for fast response thermal activated experiments. Uses a 6 pin Mini Din connector on front. Upgradeable!

Current Objective Heater Controller (metal base and plastic outer shell) multi voltage input, improved objective temperature control and included reference probe. Uses 6 pin mini din connector. Upgradeable!

Current FCS2 and FCS3 Controller (metal base and plastic outer shell) multi voltage input, includes remote setpoint, and external temperature readout. Uses 6 pin mini din connector.

Current FCS2 This model has been produced since 2000 and is still used today. Uses 6 pin Mini Din connector.

Current FCS3 this model was introduced in 2005 and is still used today. It has the functionality of an FCS2 but made for an upright microscope. Uses 6 pin Mini Din connector.
