Typical FCS2 Perfusion Configuration For Induced Change Biology
|
|

|
- Tygon 2275 X 1/16" tubing supply line 1/16" ID (keep as short as possible)
- Micro-Perfusion pump (recommended for prolonged, controlled perfusion in delicate optical cavities)
- Tee adapter (used to add low volume syringe to perfusion)
- Luer adapter (female, adapts luer taper syringe to 1/16" tubing)
- Low volume glass syringe (to permit precision manual perfusion during loading of chamber)
- Luer adapter (male, adapts 1/16" tubing to female luer lock)
- Alternate media glass syringe (growth factors, inhibitors etc.)
- Two-way valve (switches source to perfusion pump or manual)
- FCS2 Chamber
- Tubing to waste container
- Tee adapter (place at same height as chamber, open top of tee prevents siphoning)
Note: Syringes are glass to prevent contamination of media from silicone lubricant typical in plastic syringes. |
