Revised Heated Lid, Now with O-Ring Seal!
The Bioptechs Delta T Heated Lid is a device which will provide a condensate free optical surface on the top of a Delta T Dish through which specimens can be observed or trans-illuminated on an inverted or upright microscope. It is reusable, autoclavable and powered by a 2.5 volt source from either a battery or the optional auxiliary power supply in the Delta T Controller. It has a gas introduction port on one side and a vent port on the other to facilitate introduction of CO2 or other gasses.
The Bioptechs Delta T Heated Lid w/ Perfusion is identical to the heated lid above but also has a pair of fluid perfusion ports installed. The Bioptechs Micro-Perfusion Pump with the dual perfusion tubing is recommended for this purpose see illustration below.
The heated lids are now o-ring sealed to assure gas containment and prevent seepage.
